Privacy
Short version: your answers never leave your browser, there are no accounts, and our two analytics services only ever see aggregated events — never what you typed.
What stays on your device
- Round progress is kept in this tab’s session storage so a refresh resumes your round. Closing the tab discards it.
- Settings and history (timed-mode preference, which questions you’ve seen, past round summaries) are kept in this browser’s local storage. Clearing site data removes them permanently.
- Nothing above is synced, transmitted, or readable by us.
What we never do
- No accounts, no sign-up, no advertising networks, no ad retargeting, no data sales.
- We do not receive, store, or transmit your typed answers. Judging happens in your browser.
- No fingerprinting, no session replay, no third-party embeds on practice screens.
Analytics
We run two analytics services, both configured for minimal data. Both receive pageviews and the same six practice events with minimal fields: round starts; question resolutions (question ID, status, points — never your typed answer); completions (total points, question count); replays; clicks on the outbound Krillion.io link; feedback-copy clicks.
- Plausible (self-hosted Community Edition at analytics.nitortian.com) — cookieless and aggregated; it stores no cookies or identifiers in your browser.
- Google Analytics 4 (property G-ND2ZZ4DCDC) — sets the Google
_gacookies in your browser (up to 2 years) to tell repeat visits apart; Google processes this data under its own privacy policy. You can block it with any cookie blocker or Google's opt-out add-on; the site keeps working normally.
What is excluded from both: your typed answers, any form input, any personal identifier we could use to know who you are. Your practice round runs entirely in your browser. Local and preview builds run with analytics fully disabled.
Third-party pages
Outbound links (krillion.io and the games on the comparison page) are ordinary links; once you follow them, those sites’ own policies apply.
