Independent Practice for Krillion Players

Start a round right here: five questions, instant judgment with sources, a round summary, and another round whenever you want. This is our own practice game in the Krillion rare-answer style — not the official Krillion, with a different question bank and different scoring.

How a Krillion practice round works

  1. Pick a mode: untimed (default) or a 30-second-per-question challenge.
  2. Five different questions from our reviewed bank. No repeats within a round.
  3. Type an answer. Exact bank entries score; close misses get a suggestion, and unmatched answers are told “not in this practice set” — you can retry, skip, or move on.
  4. Each settled question shows the accepted answer, why it counts, evidence links, and a few other accepted examples.
  5. Finish for a round summary you can copy (without spoiling answers), then play again.

What “unlimited” means here — and what it doesn’t

There is no daily cap on rounds — play as many as you like, right now, without an account. What “unlimited” never means on any site: an infinite supply of new questions. Our bank currently holds 24 questions across 4 topics (335 reviewed answers); once you have seen most of them, repeats start, and your least-recently-seen questions are dealt first. The official Krillion.io also lists its own Unlimited mode — ours is a separate option, not a replacement or a copy.

How this differs from the original

Krillion.io (original)This practice tool
OperatorAn independent solo developer (per its FAQ)Odd Answer Lab — unrelated to Krillion.io
QuestionsCurated by Krillion.io's own team; we do not copy their sets24 original questions, every answer individually reviewed with cited sources
ScoringRarity-based per the official FAQ; formula not published by usEditorial 1–3 points with written per-answer rationale (methodology)
AccountsOptional personal area on the official siteNone. Progress lives in this browser only
Fair warning—The bank ships to your browser, so determined players could read it. Fine for practice; not an anti-cheat system

Bank status: every question is source-checked (each accepted answer carries a rationale and cited source, read 2026-10-03). Human playtesting is still pending, and the review trail is public in our methodology notes.
